Susan Singley earned a degree in Early Childhood Education with the goal of bringing her love of story, reading, and education to young children. She is committed to laying the foundations for learning with positive early experiences in a small classroom setting.
When her own children were young, she worked from home as she couldn’t find the kind of preschool experience she felt was best for them. Once they were both in elementary school, she jumped at the chance to design the kind of program she’d wanted for her own children.
She took what she’d learned from her student teaching experiences in a Waldorf School and reading about Maria Montessori. She used her experience teaching UU Spirit Play and her own philosophy of active learning and socio-emotional intelligence into the Circle of Life Preschool.
